March 5^th at 6:30 PM at Star Hall there is a required Public Hearing regarding Kane Creek “Preservation” and Development’s request to form their own “town” (luxury development) on the site of the former Egg Ranch and Kane Springs Campground.  If approved, the developers’ Craig Weston, Trent Arnold, and Tom Gottleib could create their own zoning, have their own building inspector etc., essentially allowing them to build whatever they want by bypassing our local laws.  These developers applied for this preliminary municipality through SB 258, a new law, seemingly tailor made for them, that passed at the last minute with virtually no chance for public input. If you are alarmed by this you should attend this meeting and make your voice heard. Residents will be given a chance to ask questions and provide input.
